Deborah Agrusa is the owner and artistic director of Deborah's Stage Door Center for the Performing Arts which is now in its 32nd year. Debbie received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in dance from Michigan State University and a Masters of Education Degree from Wayne State University. Our staff members consists of over 25 experienced instructors, many of whom have degrees in dance, have studied at studios in Los Angeles and New York or have performed professionally in movies and television.
Salina has been dancing since the age of 3. She was the Captain of her dance team in Junior High and was on her dance team all four years of high school. She is currently a college student at Oakland University. She has been teaching for many years and we are very lucky to have her here at DSD this year. We are so excited to welcome Svetlana to our faculty this year! She is a graduate from Belarusian National College of Choreography with a degree in Classical Ballet. She has choreographed and danced on many stages all over the world including Comical gas De Deux Music: Ludwig That's Dancing, Odessa Musical Theater in Odessa Ukraine, Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in St Petersburg Russia, My Wife is A Liar, Choreographer and ballerina on the USA tour. Tricia Atkinson grew up at Deborah’s Stage Door where she studied all forms of dance extensively and was a proud member of the Repertory Company. After attending Oakland University for dance Tricia went on to dance in Los Angeles and New York City. She has ran two amazing Competition Companies who have won numerous awards.
