Deborah T. Agrusa, M.Ed

Deborah Agrusa is the owner and artistic director of Deborah's Stage Door Center for the Performing Arts which is now in its 32nd year. Debbie received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in dance from Michigan State University and a Masters of Education Degree from Wayne State University. Debbie was chosen by the faculty of Michigan State University as "One of the Top Ten Graduating Seniors" upon the completion of her Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University. Beth Anne Perry

Beth Anne Perry is happy to join the dance faculty of Deborah’s Stage Door. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Dance Specialization from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts degree in American Dance Studies. Beth has studied ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz and tap extensively. In addition, Beth has numerous years of teaching experience. Jamie Rustowicz

Jamie is the director and head naturalist at Moose Tree Nature Preserve, a 35 acre preserve and nature center that is part of the Lake Orion School District. She also works as a guest naturalist at the Lewis E. Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks in Clarkston, MI. Jamie graduated from CMU with a BA in Recreation, Parks and Leisure with a focus on Outdoor and Environmental Education and a BS in Earth Science as well. Larisa Walega

Larisa, like so many other proud members of our staff, grew up at DSD and was a proud member of the Repertory Company. She won many national dance championships and performed at Disney World, Detroit Piston half-time shows, Rochester Art and Apples, America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,the Rochester Christmas Parade and many more! Christina Saari

Christina has a passion for teaching and a love for dance. She started dancing at the age of 2 ½. For 16 years, she studied various forms of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pom, and folk dance. As a child and young adult, she had numerous performance and competition opportunities and was invited to join many special performance teams. Dionne Washington

Dionne attended Marygrove College in Detroit. She trained with Jarell Gordy, director for the Pistons Half time shows and got so much better with him in my style as Hip Hop and also was asked by him to dance with him in China. Rebecca Englehart

Rebecca is new to our staff this year and is very excited to be teaching voice and piano at DSD! She graduated from Wayne State with Degree in Vocal Performance. She loves teaching piano and voice to all ages! We are lucky to have her here at DSD

Salina Cusmano

Salina has been dancing since the age of 3. She was the Captain of her dance team in Junior High and was on her dance team all four years of high school. She is currently a college student at Oakland University. She has been teaching for many years and we are very lucky to have her here at DSD this year. Tricia Atkinson

Tricia Atkinson grew up at Deborah’s Stage Door where she studied all forms of dance extensively and was a proud member of the Repertory Company. After attending Oakland University for dance Tricia went on to dance in Los Angeles and New York City. She has ran two amazing Competition Companies who have won numerous awards.
