Christina has a passion for teaching and a love for dance. She started dancing at the age of 2 ½. For 16 years, she studied various forms of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pom, and folk dance. As a child and young adult, she had numerous performance and competition opportunities and was invited to join many special performance teams. She is a graduate of Oakland University with a Masters degree in education and is employed by Utica Community Schools. Christina has been an elementary school teacher for 17 years and is currently teaching kindergarten. Christina lives in Rochester Hills with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys watching both her girls develop a love for dance as students at Deborah’s Stage Door! She hopes to instill a love of learning and an appreciation for dance in her young students. She is thrilled to join the DSD staff.
