Julie Berg

Julie Berg attends Oakland University on an academic scholarship. She is majoring in biology and plans to be a doctor in the future. Outside of school Julie loves to spend her time teaching dance. Julie has studied dance for over 16 years and excels in all styles. She is an excellent technician and a great performer. She was a member of our most advanced group, the Repertory Company. With this group, she has not only been a national award winner who has performed extensively, but has also had the opportunity to perform for many community and charitable events. This includes numerous fundraisers hosted by Variety, A Children's Network, The American Cancer Association, Detroit Institute of Arts, and The Parade Company which hosts America's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has opened for the Cheetah Girls, Raven, and Corbin Bleu and performed with other artists including The Tops and The Temptations. Julie is hard working, dedicated, and responsible. She works hard to make sure that her students not only are having fun but that they are learning as well, often going out of her way to find a way to reach every child.
